Edinburgh Military Tattoo - What more needs to be said? A sell out every year with people coming from all corners of the world to watch this thrilling show of Scots and their friends at their best. No matter how often we see this show we never fail to choke up with the sight and sound of the massed pipes.

Edinburgh Book Festival - Also taking place while we're in Edinburgh - the UNESCO World City of Literature is the International Book Festival featuring more than 800 authors, 750 different events, seminars, workshops - and a great book store! Edinburgh Book Festival
Wide World Books and Maps - A great travel book store in Seattle who also do mail order. Not only books but maps, travel accessories and lots of neat fun stuff for the traveler.
