Our Hotels for 2010
All our hotels are a minimum of four star wherever possible. (There may be exceptions when we feel the three star is in a better location, or simply a better hotel for our purposes.)
 
Kenmore, Scotland's oldest Inn & A Cool Tub at Channings, Edinburgh (former home of Ernest Shackelton)
We stay in each location two or three nights. The only exception is the early and last nights at airport hotels.
The accommodations range from modern hotels to historic properties, chateaus and former mansion houses and in most cases are chosen because of their location if in the heart of a city, to unique countryside locations.

Many of our hotels have been part of our tours for years where the staff knows us and what we want for our guests. One of the main criteria is a good staff. Friendliness and a wanting to make your stay enjoyable is key.
