How about a nice little pre-Christmas break in San Antonio?

Not far by air, some unique shopping - great things to see and do - and it's not cold.

Everything from the German town of Fredericksburg, old Spanish Mission, the famous River walk,  an Olive Grove and of course the Alamo! (Did you know there was a piper at the Alamo?)

No packing and unpacking. Six days from our four star hotel right on the famous River Walk. And we're within walking distance of all the big sites and  Markets.

Of course no real pre-Christmas holiday would be complete without a River Cruise under the bridges, past the Christmas lights and the wonderful little river front theatre. Or the opportunity to shop in La Villita or Market Square those traditional Mexican/Spanish American  shops or some of the more unique Arts and Crafts areas anywhere in North America. Attend a special Mariachi Mass in an old Spanish Mission and visit Luckenbach, Texas, the town with three people and made famous by Willie Nelson. And we'll visit an Olive Grove and as well as sample some real Texas wine. Tons of fun.
